Although we have not yet received our referral, we have been told that it should be in the next few days. We are so ready! Nine months of being DTV has really taken its toll on our family.

Legacy of an Adopted Child
Once there were two women, who never knew each other
One you do not remember, the other you call mother
Two different lives shaped to make you one
One became your guiding star, the other became your sun
The first one gave you life, and the second taught you to live it
The first gave you a need for love, the second was there to give it

One made an adoption plan, that was all that she could do

i know what you mean by being so ready! we have been DTV for 10 months and 8 months with PLAN and it has been long enough! i am so happy for you and can't wait to see her sweet face!
I'm hoping you hear more very soon! The wait does take its toll!
We are all so very very hopeful for you! I know you're frustrated, but you know that God has a very special little girl picked out just for you and when He is ready for you to meet her, you will. As this struggle takes its toll on you, remember, we are here to lift you up when you need it. We can't wait to meet the newest member of our family.
